Aiako Harria Natural Park is an area of unique beauty. Located at the eastern point of Gipuzkoa, Aiako Harria massif is one of the extremes of the Pyrenees mountain range, with its three prominent peaks: Irumugarrieta (806 m), Txurrumurru (821 m) and Erroilbide (843 m).

Did you know that Aiako Harria is one of the oldest geological formations in the Basque Country (about 250 million years ago) and that marine animal fossils have also been found in some rocks? On the other hand, humankind has lived there for many centuries, and proof of this are the cromlechs, burial mounds and dolmens found in different parts of the park, as well as Arditurri's Roman mines and mills from later times.

Another outstanding feature is the diversity of the wildlife. Finding salmon, griffon vultures, or wood pigeons in the surrounding area is relatively easy. Its beautiful oak and beech forests are perfect places for walking, even for leaving aside everyday duties.

Throughout the Aiako Harria Natural Park, you can follow several approved routes marked with the corresponding signs (PR, GR or SL).
