Soinuenea, located in the Ergoien district, is a museum and documentation centre for popular music.
A collection of more than 400 examples of different musical instruments has been used in the exhibition, and more than 1200 are classified in the storage room. Researchers can study the latter.
The exhibition includes musical instruments and sound toys worldwide, classified into different sound production systems: aerophones, membranophones, idiophones and chordophones.

A guided group tour is also available, showing visitors how several instruments in the showcases actually sound.
